About us
We are two boys from Hampshire who have in the last year or two got ourselves more and more into fishing. We both love catching almost any species of fish. We are always trying to learn more about the sport so we can improve our fishing and therefore the quality and the quantity of fish we catch. We both also enjoy making videos and we are always learning new ways to make them better for our viewers to watch.

My first ever fish!
I caught my first fish when i was about 4 years old. It was a tiny little school
bass which i caught on ragworm from the Beaulieu river estuary. I loved it!
Despite this i didn't do alot of fishing apart from the odd bit on
holidays etc. until i was about 9 or 10 years old. We bought an open canoe and
most weekends my dad and i would go out on the estuary trolling lures behind the
canoe. This method was often devestating. On one day we caught a total of 37
bass up to 6lbs using this method! Because of this, apart from the odd bit of freshwater
fly fishing with my dad i started off fishing in saltwater. I only started to
really get into freshwater fishing last year but since then i have caught a
range of different species and sizes of fish. I decided quite quickly that my
favourite freshwater species to target was the Pike. I you have watched any of
our videos you will probably have noticed this but i try not to focus them too
much on 'esox'. Variety is important! Last summer my family bought a small 15ft
fishing boat and we have caught some lovely fish in the sea. My favourite sea
fish to catch are Bass and Smoothound (a type of small shark) which are
incredibly strong fish for their size. Nowadays though Jay and i are mostly
freshwater anglers. Hope you like the website!

I caught my first fish aged 3, it was a grayling but I don't have a picture unfortunately. The picture on the left is me, aged 8, holding a 3lb pike caught on bread accidentally! I started fishing when I was 3 years of age, I fished with my Dad and my Uncle, the species we targeted were generally trout and grayling. Since then i have done lots of sea, river and lake fishing, catching many different species of fish. I mostly fish freshwater rivers and lakes nowadays but sometimes in the summer we fish in the sea or brackish water estuaries. My favourite freshwater species to catch are trout and tench; my favourite sea species are Bass and Bream.
